HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!!

2011 does not have to be a year of broken promises and forgotten resolutions. Instead, we can make 2011 the year of living in the moment. We need not worry about what we promised ourselves yesterday and what we expect tomorrow. All we need to do is live in that single moment, breathing life, breathing presence, breathing joy. We can look around us and see life moving and appreciate the smallest most insignificant details - a snowflake making its way down from the sky where it was created, a squirrel gathering some last traces of food for the winter, a bus load of people passing you by, the chaotic buzz of the city before you, your footsteps hitting the pavement - all these observations bring us closer to loving life, loving ourselves, and loving all who are part of this world.

So take each day as it comes. No need to think/worry about the future for karma is created in every present moment. No need to regret the past for you are alive and well in the here and now. It is in the here and now that we live.

Set your goals and work on them in the moment. Enjoy the bliss you feel doing what you love and it will bring you closer to what you love...again and again until you realize you're doing what you love everyday.

Foster positive and respectful relationships with your loved ones and your colleagues. Cultivate forgiveness. If there is conflict, give yourself time to react respectfully and with compassion. Tune into your higher self and leave the ego behind when mending the connections with your loved ones. In time, they will open their hearts to you. Be patient. Have faith. And continue to love with an open heart. Let go of insecurity and doubt. Let people come to you in their own time. In the meanwhile, fashion your creativity. Seek knowledge and enlightenment. Feed your body with life-affirming food and water. Love yourself - every part of yourselves.

WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2011. FIND YOUR BLISS AND EMBRACE THE HERE AND NOW for that is ALL we really have...
